Remigration by Martin Sellner (Book Review #2)
There was a lot of buzz around this book in Germany. Some weeks ago, Sellner met with a couple of opposition party members in the country. The mainstream media took this meeting and Sellner’s proposal of a nationwide remigration of migrants to frame the opposition party as right-wing extremists. Their poll numbers dropped. Thousands took to the streets to protest. Sellner was temporarily prohibited from entering Germany (he’s Austrian).
But when the EU election happened, the media had already moved on. The opposition party actually gained votes and scored the highest result in a national election.
The question of “remigration” meanwhile vanished from public discourse — the system abandonned it when it wasn’t useful anymore. Sellner also entered Germany a couple of times without any officials arresting him now. And the opposition party continues to rise in the polls.
Out of interest, I ordered the book and see for myself.
It’s a short read painting a remigration plan for the West in general that is neither based on forcing people out of the country against their will nor using the military or police force to “deport” foreigners. It’s a humane attempt at countering The Great Replacement that was forced upon the Western people with force and without their consent.
The methods proposed offer incentives and developmental aid in the home countries of the migrants which will cost the West not only decades but also billions. The entire approach is an attempt at offering peaceful solutions and avoiding any measures of force. It’s obvious that Sellner tries to give a blueprint for western opposition parties to use to bring the political center votes behind them. I would call it the most milk toast advance to do what is necessary to save the West from being replaced.
Will it work? It could, if the system was actually interested in doing it.
But I don’t see the powers that be having any interest in saving Western culture. The same powers are behind opening the border, destroying the third world, and orchestrating the migrant flow to end Western culture. As long as these powers remain in charge behind the scenes, even the most humane attempt at remigrating anyone will not be implemented.
If the opposition parties will ever become the ruling parties, the money elite will continue to call the shots — just look at Melony in Italy abandoning her biggest talking points quickly after getting into office.
Therefore, a peaceful remigration and resurgence of Western culture might be a pipe-dream.
I hope that I am wrong, but I don’t see a future in which peaceful solutions will work. To the contrary, the future of the West is war, chaos, and death. And the solution to all this is not politics, developmental aid, humane measures or UN resolutions.
Once again, I hope that I am wrong. It would surely be a better future for all of us if I was.
